Status Yellow Weather warning in place for Thursday and Friday for Leinster, Connacht and Munster for Snow and Ice.
Heavy snowfalls expected in most areas with up to 5cm in places. Snow to turn to rain in the south and parts of the west on Thursday night
Status Yellow Snow/Ice warning currently in place until 9pm tonight for Antrim, Down, Armagh, Louth, Monaghan, Cavan, Meath, Westmeath, Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow, Wexford and Waterford.
Snow and hail showers expected today with accumulations in places.
