Pentagon probe found that the Feb. 28 US missile strike on an Iranian elementary school in Minab โ killing 123 children โ resulted from a cascade of failures.
Outdated intelligence that still classified the school as an IRGC facility, compressed timelines as the administration demanded 1,000+ strikes in 24 hours, overreliance on Palantir's Maven AI system (which personnel wrongly expected to flag stale data), and Hegseth's 90% cuts to civilian-harm-mitigation teams.
The site had visibly operated as a school for nearly a decade, was on Google Maps, and had its own website.
UN report this week said the failures "went beyond negligence" and may constitute war crimes.
The Pentagon investigation has been effectively complete for months but remains unreleased.
The administration still hasn't publicly accepted responsibility.

@Vox_Adversum@mitrajoy_@jtraulf1 Iโm gross for pointing out the fact that elementary aged children arenโt able to safely give birth and shouldnโt be forced to? Lol
@Vox_Adversum@mitrajoy_@jtraulf1 And his solution is to (most likely) kill both, because everyone with an iq above room temperature knows 11 year old children are not physiologically suited for childbirth. Keep coping for dada tho
