@FightinHydrant @BontaHill To Bonta’s defense, I don’t think he suggested it as a long term play. He just meant in the short term b/c he was getting close to his career high in IP + as an opportunity to iron out his secondary stuff. At least that’s how I interpreted it lol

@BaseballJeff1 He’s always had an above average ability to go oppo. If he could barrel the pitches belt high (like he did in his HR last week) more consistently & just lower his chase on those low and away offspeed pitches we might have something 👍🏼
