🚨BREAKING: First Lady Melania Trump has quietly taken on a real diplomatic role in the Ukraine war.

She wrote personal letters to both Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky, which senior officials from each side delivered. She helped broker a temporary ceasefire in the Russian-occupied city of Oleshky that allowed nearly 800 civilians to evacuate and receive aid. Russian and Ukrainian officials then met at the White House at her invitation.

Zelensky awarded her Ukraine’s Order of Princess Olga, First Class, one of the country’s highest state honors, for her humanitarian work. For a First Lady who has largely stayed out of the political spotlight, the role is striking.
