🗓️ June 10, 1978 - one of the more bizarre moments in World Cup history.

France and Hungary were set to meet in Mar Del Plata and, in an era of black and white TV, it was deemed both teams couldn't wear their dark home shirts.

Both teams arrived at the ground ONLY with their alternative shirts, which were both white.

The match was delayed for 40 minutes before the arrival of France’s replacement kit, provided by local club Club Atlético Kimberley who play in green-and-white stripes.

France won 3-1 in colors they’ve never worn before or since.
