If you use it right, Twitter is the most powerful platform in the world.
But Twitter does a horrible job of showing you its advanced features.
Here are 10 of them you probably know nothing about:
Try to “get” an audience before you get an audience.
- Find out what’s important for them.
- Find out who is important among them.
- Find out when is the best time to join the conversation.
Then: Engage.
Tweeting can give you:
• A job offer
• A product sale
• An unexpected connection
You are one tweet away from changing everything for you but you will never know which tweet will do that.
Solution? Keep on tweeting.
Many people have asked me how I managed to grow from 0->1100 followers so quickly. I've be sharing my advice in DMs, but figured I should share more broadly.

@_pankaj_patidar Love it! Indeed, when you determine a Value Proposition based on your customers' needs, you can create many different products to satisfy them. It's much more scalable!

In order to sell your products you need an audience. It’s your best starting point. Let’s talk about most important places where to build it.
🔹ProductHunt
🔹Twitter
🔹Reddit
🔹Facebook groups
🔹Slack groups
🔹Telegram groups
🔹Discord groups

Do you want to grow an audience on LinkedIn?
🔹 Post often (1+ pr. day).
🔹 Post visual content.
LinkedIn is still struggling with a general lack of creators.
They will "reward" you for posting often.
It's also still very text-oriented.
Thus visual content really stands out.
💵Investing in ads might not be the best solution to grow your audience...
📉It's not scalable and the results are not always as expected.
What has been your experience?
Last week I published an article and tweet about my year as a indie maker. After getting a lot of impressions and visits organically during the first two days, I decided to run a quick experiment using Twitter Ads. Here is what I did and the results.

What makes a good bio:
→ Has social proof
→ No hashtags 🙏
→ Gives people a reason to follow you
→ Has something that people will associate with you
→ Shows how you help others, not just talking about yourself
There are simple ways to create disproportionate impact:
→ There is no cost for an RT or comment
→ There is no cost for a supportive call
→ There is not for connecting two like minds
Aim to help others take their next step.

@jackbutcher The art of connecting with others & expanding your network is underappreciated.
It's often essential to getting a job, seeking funding, and generally advancing careers.
