@Oscar_P_Q@ultras_antifaa I'm not sure you fully understand just how silly that sounds to someone who's just logged into twitter for the first time in 20 hours and will be promptly logging off for another 20. Touch grass, king.
"When the mensheviks came to power, nothing except for the flag changed. We worked for the same bosses under the same conditions. Only in the fiery days of November when men with a strange name came to the town did things change. They were called "bolsheviks.""-Nikolai Ostrovsky
@commiecatlady I try to ignore them and just crack on with the work, too busy party building for the numpties. The best of the sectarians will join us, the worst of them will fade into obscurity
What is it with Doctor Who where every season starts with a couple of banger episodes and gets progressively worse until the last episode of the season is the worst thing you've ever watched?
@FabsJoel11 The Christmas special which bigs her up is especially overindulgent in that regard. Clara herself has this frustrating self importance which reflects how the narrative of the show wants us to feel about her character
@FabsJoel11 At least 30% of the reason, at least for me, is that she was thrown in as a replacement for an S-tier companion and the story essentially demanded that the audience treat her with the same importance and reverence instead of building her up
@FabsJoel11 They shouldn't have made the Daleks unbeatable except by what was a literal deux ex machina. They should have given the Doctor an out, but resorted to nonsense despite what was a flawless finale otherwise
@FabsJoel11 Doctor Who suffers from the worst plot creep of any show out there. It started with Rose and Bad Wolf and ended with every subsequent companion being the super special god of the universe or done shit. Bad Wolf was fine, a little contrived but fine
