آیا سیاست «فشار حداکثری» به‌تنهایی می‌تواند ایران را تغییر دهد؟

در تازه‌ترین مقاله‌ام در Geopolitical Monitor استدلال می‌کنم که هرچند تحریم‌ها و بازدارندگی نظامی می‌توانند رژیم را تضعیف کنند، اما تغییر پایدار مستلزم تعامل جدی با اپوزیسیون سازمان‌یافته دموکراتیکی است که چشم‌اندازی روشن برای گذار به حکومتی مبتنی بر قانون اساسی، سکولار و دموکراتیک ارائه می‌دهد.

آن‌ها یک انسان را اعدام کردند، اما نتوانستند آرمانی را که او نمایندگی می‌کرد به دار بیاویزند.

وحید بنی‌عامریان از پشت میله‌های زندان، شجاعانه‌تر از کسانی سخن گفت که با ترس، شکنجه و چوبه‌دار حکومت می‌کنند. آخرین پیام او پیام تسلیم نبود؛ پیامی از یقین و ایستادگی بود: هیچ دیکتاتوری‌ای که بر پایه اعدام بنا شده باشد، نمی‌تواند ملتی را برای همیشه خاموش کند.

هر اعدام در ایران، بیش از آنکه نشانه قدرت رژیم باشد، نشانه هراس عمیق آن است. حکومتی که جوانان زندانی سیاسی را اعدام می‌کند، در حقیقت از مردم خود می‌ترسد.

جهان نباید همچنان چشم بر این واقعیت ببندد که زندان‌های ایران به ابزار ترور سیاسی تبدیل شده‌اند.

Vahid Bani-Amirian spoke from prison with more courage than those who rule through fear, torture, and the gallows. His final message was not one of surrender, but of certainty: no dictatorship built on executions can silence a nation forever.

Every execution in Iran exposes the regime’s deepest fear, not its strength. A government that hangs young political prisoners is a government terrified of its own people.

The world must stop looking away while Iran’s prisons become instruments of political terror.
