A 73-year-old woman was found murdered in Fitzroy North, Victoria, yesterday. It is understood police are seeking a male suspect. The Homicide Squad is investigating. She is the 39th Australian woman killed this year. Last year we lost 79 women to violence - the year before 106 women were killed.
