TACTIC #2: Relevant Communities
1. Find 5 communities where your audience is located
2. Participate genuinely (no selling, give value)
3. When it feels natural, mention your tool
4. Out of 100 interactions: 5-10 probable customers
Cost: $0. Time: 1 hour per day
Branding bits:
build your community by doing this
• go through a week of your posts
• add everyone who replied to a list
• consistently engage with them daily
• reply to their content and start conversations
start with the people that care
🧵a thread on some basic chat etiquette because it feels like a lot of chatters don't know it these days
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
1. Read chat rules of your streamer
📌Most streamers already have a set of basic rules for their chat, just check them out before
˗ˏˋ ♡ VTUBER TIP OF THE DAY ♡ ˎˊ˗
🌸 MAKE RULES CLEAR, NOT LONG !!
✦ No one reads essays when joining a stream.
✦ Keep your chat rules short, direct, and pinned somewhere visible.
✦ Simple boundaries are easier for everyone to follow.

Streamers... Protect your peace and your community ❤️🎮
1) Its okay to say no ❤️ You don't have to play every game someone tells you to, or play with the random first time chatter if you're not comfortable with it.
2) Set and enforce your boundaries 🙅♀️ If someone breaks the rules or disrespects you/your community feel free to mute, time out, ban and/or block as needed. Your community is your safe place... keep it safe.
3) Make time for yourself outside of streaming/content creation and get plenty of rest. Read that book, watch that movie, spend time with loved ones, etc ❤️ Streaming is fun but can take a lot of physical and mental energy. Let yourself recharge to prevent burnout ⚡️😓
4) Surround yourself with positive and supportive people 🫶 There are some in this industry that can be cruel and just want to use you for their self gain... it's ok to be selective with who you let into your peace.
5) Streaming is meant to be fun! Do and play what you love... if you’re having fun your community will see that and they'll have fun too 🤟❤️
Want to grow as a streamer? Here are some tips!
- Treat everyone's socials the way you'd want YOURS to be treated. (comment, like, share etc.)
- Network, branch out. Get your name out there, on every platform. Twitter has helped me more than people could ever know!
- TALK, get to know people. No more "hey, hru !lurk". Tabbing is awesome but actually spend time on people.
- Be consistent, make a schedule.
- Don't be negative. Nobody likes a negative Nancy.
- INTERACT WITH CHAT. Doesn't matter if there's one person or 500.
- Be thankful for subs/follows/raids.
- Try new things. Don't be afraid to "fail". Keep trying.
- Be genuine.
- Don't worry about numbers or hitting goals ASAP.
- Most importantly, have fun 🫶
(Did I miss anything?)
🌐 TIP #4: MAKE STREAMS INTERACTIVE!
This tip is more of a personal preference- I love streams that feel more interactive but that’s also maybe because as a viewer I also want to feel involved in the experience of livestreams!!
Interactive elements might not all fit your style or content, and that’s okay!
The broader idea here is to find ways for viewers to participate, rather than watching! When you get your audience involved, they don’t just become viewers, they become part of the experience of a livestream!!!
For my streams, I have:
🫧 Daily sub goal with an art raffle! NEW YCH base every month so there’s something new to look forward to!
🫧 Niucoins: my loyalty points system (via StreamElements!)
🫧 Raid Wheel: incentives for raiders!
🫧 Interactive Channel points that change my Vtuber’s hair/outfit
You don’t have to add 10 elements overnight. Start with one thing that feels fun to you and build from there.
