[SoftwareBrian @SoftwareBrian]

@atarirobby @ThePokerBoss @MGMGrandDetroit It was really nice and they had loads of “good” players that obviously honed their craft at @ThePokerBoss school of NL holdem

[SoftwareBrian @SoftwareBrian]

Visiting @ThePokerBoss @MGMGrandDetroit poker room. Pretty nice game not once have any of these people played like the “Poker Boss”

[SoftwareBrian @SoftwareBrian]

@SherryPluskota sure there’s no 🍓 Julius but free 🥤 isn’t too shabby.

[SoftwareBrian @SoftwareBrian]

@Tesla Ugh was going to hit purchase on my Robotaxi’s

[SoftwareBrian @SoftwareBrian]

@elonmusk @bot Just don’t invite them to client meetings cause they’ll keep clicking request without being to get in. At least that’s what I’ve heard 🤦‍♂️

[SoftwareBrian @SoftwareBrian]

[SoftwareBrian @SoftwareBrian]

@bp22 And yet just like the claim that he said they’d be the only company yet he doesn’t bother to clear it up.

[SoftwareBrian @SoftwareBrian]

@bp22 With Airbnb being one of the worst sites on the internet I’m actually surprised.

[德州洞察 @TX_InsightCN]

@ivan_bezdomny Companies? Company data going to OpenAI? No thanks.

[SoftwareBrian @SoftwareBrian]

@PokerCookieM @mnmcheck Who is Mark?

[David Sacks @DavidSacks]

Last year the same labs, politicians, NGOs, and media outlets now pushing the extinction hoax were running a full-scale campaign that AI would cause a jobs apocalypse.

We were told it would be a “white-collar bloodbath,” 10–20% unemployment, half of entry-level jobs gone. Obama amplified it.

Over a year later: unemployment at 4.1%. No economy-wide displacement. A million new jobs created by AI, says The Economist. Anthropic’s own chief economist says the data looks like skill augmentation, not job destruction.

So, any admission by the doomer labs, politicians, and NGOs that they were wrong? Any humility about scaring the public with wild extrapolations dressed up as forecasts? Nope.

They just move on to the next hoax, with the same false certitude and fake precision.

[SoftwareBrian @SoftwareBrian]

@bp22 @davidsmi I’m sure they’ll just vibe code it. Should be done this afternoon @bp22

[SoftwareBrian @SoftwareBrian]

For our sake, I hope those in power listen and block regulatory capture of AI by the labs that would gain the most if the US/World became a technocratic authoritarian system ruled by Sam Altman and Dario Amodei.

[Innovation Council @innovationcncl]

🚨🚨🚨
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang: "We want to avoid regulatory capture, advertently or inadvertently... We want technology to accelerate, not the other way around… accelerating AI, and accelerating AI safety is the same idea. I prefer today’s car over the car 100 years ago. It has ABS, it has lane-keeping, it has much better braking systems, airbags—all of these different technologies are made possible because of the ADVANCEMENT of the technology."
