The Gujarat Health Department has just received not one, but TWO prestigious SKOCH Awards in the GOLD category at the SKOCH 100 summit held in Delhi yesterday!

✅SH-RBSK Health+ Digital Health Card: This innovative program provides a digital health card for every student, ensuring they have access to quality healthcare and health records at their fingertips. The dedicated work of 992 SHRBSK Mobile health teams and integration of Health and Education IT portals have made it possible to issue More digital health card to More than 1.15 crore students issued digital health card every year from June 2023.

✅"Breaking the Silence" Free Cochlear Implant and Speech Therapy: This groundbreaking initiative offers free cochlear implant surgery, pre - post operative care and speech therapy to those in need, helping to break down communication barriers and empower children with congenital profound hearing to achieve their full potential. More than 3260 free cochlear Implant surgeries are done from 2014.

These awards are a testament to the Gujarat Health Department's dedication to improving the lives of its citizens.

Let me introduce you all with Real Father Of Embryology "Acharya Sushruta"

Yes, Many centuries ago, Without any advanced USG like facilities, Acharya Shushruta (& many other #Ayurveda Acharyas) told that - The fetus is connected with the mother through Umbilical Cord & the fetus receive its nutrition through this umbilical cord (isn't this amazing?? ) - Look this shloka

मातुस्तु खलु रसवहायां नाड़यां गर्भनाभिनाड़ी प्रतिबद्धा…मातुराहाररस….!

Cutting of Umbilical cord after the baby is delivered is also mentioned:

….ततो नाभिनाड़ी….सूत्रेण बद्धवा छेदयेत…

Acharya Sushruta also gave detailed description of Monthly development of the Embryo / Fetus:

First Month Of Pregnancy:

तत्र प्रथमे मासि कललं जायते!

2nd Month

द्वितीये शीतोष्मानिलैरभि…..घन: संज़ायते…पिण्ड: पुमान, स्त्री चेत पेशी, नपुंसकं चेदर्बुदमिति!

3rd Month

तृतीये हस्तपादशिरसां पंच पिण्डका निर्वर्तन्तेअंगप्रत्यंगविभागश्च सूक्ष्मो भवति!

4th Month

चतुर्थे सर्वांगप्रत्यंगविभाग: प्रव्यक्तो भवति, गर्भहृदयप्रव्यक्तिभावाच्चेतनाधातुरभिव्यक्तो भवति,……. मास्यभिप्रायमिन्द्रियार्थेषु करोति!
द्विहृदयां च नारी दौहृदिनी…

5th Month

पंचमे मन: प्रतिबुद्धतरं भवति,

6th Month

षष्ठे बुद्धि:,

7th Month

सप्तमे सर्वांगप्रत्यंगविभाग: प्रव्यक्तरः,

8th Month

अष्टमे अस्थिरीभवत्योज:,

9th, 10th, 11th, 12th Month

नवम दशम एकादश द्वादशानामन्यतमस्मिन्जायते, अतोअन्यथा विकारी भवति!!
Surprisingly Acharya Sushruta has mentioned that Normal delivery can occur in 9th to 12th month & it is abnormal only if it goes beyond 12th month.

I hv given here only few details from Sushrut Samhita only to prove that Acharya Sushrut is the Real Father Of Embryology.
