I started trauma therapy in 2019. My daily life was chaotic and haphazard and it had been that way for my entire adult life. I thought of myself as flaky and absent minded, but it was not that. My nervous system was constantly on alert and this made it hard to concentrate. 1/2🧵

Also sounds and feels like my trauma and abuse wasn’t a big deal.
But it was a big deal I lived in fear all my childhood, I was robbed of happiness and now suffer hugely because of it.
