@KRoelandschap@teslaeurope@Tesla@robotinreallife@robotaxi I had FSD brake at a crosswalk the other day and I thought it was a mistake so I started pressing the accelerator until I noticed two people about to cross the street. I let off the accelerator and let the people pass. Shouldn’t doubt the tech!
@chamath I agree human nature is to do as little work as possible for what they are being paid. The people who continue to put in the hours will far exceed the rest of society. Companies may begin to require more output and hours for the same pay though…
First few minutes of driving on FSD v14.3.2 in the early morning heading to work.
Attention monitoring seems to be a little bit tighter. I'm getting beeps much more frequently than on the last build.
While I like the concept of having a multiple-choice selection for why I just disengaged. I've said many times recently, the number one reason for disengagement for me is navigation errors, and that's not even an option here. So I guess I'm going to have to put it under preference or other? That seems silly to me. Can we please add navigation as a disengagement option?
Marc Andreessen on the imperative of speed in AI adoption:
"Both the AI utopians and the AI doomers are far too optimistic."
"They believe that because the technology makes something possible, 8 billion people all of a sudden are going to change how they behave. It's like—no. So much of how the existing economy works is just wired in."
"We're going to be lucky as a society if AI adoption happens quickly. Because if it doesn't, what we're going to have is stagnation."
