@_claypot Considering the placement of the nuke, it seems to have been targeted to take out the Race X gate, not to destroy the Black Mesa facility.

@_claypot Portions of Black Mesa could realistically survived the nuke going off. The nuke was small and near the surface, meaning most of the blast would have gone straight up. BM itself was carved out of rock making it tough to destroy.
