@mcquack306 One of the greatest episodes.
Scary, sad, and looks at the effects of loneliness and power on people and, ultimately, our personal responsibilities.
"For a long time now, I thought I was just a survivor, but I'm not. I'm the winner."
@GarrettArt Unfortunately, our Twitter account was hacked.
Anything posted in the last 72 hours was done so by a malicious 3rd party and doesn't represent official PlayStation plans.
@mcquack306@kgfch2waiting Yes, it's playable.
But is it the 'same' game.
And it's only going to become more prevalent.
The Industry is changing. The day 1 patch is now almost ubiquitous. The disc is outdated before you even get it home.
@kgfch2waiting@mcquack306 But the full game in the disc is rare now.
Crimson Desert is the current darling of the industry.
In part because of the updates it's received.
That's modern gaming, for good and bad. The disc doesn't contain the 'game' anymore.
@mcquack306 That was years ago.
Again, I don't agree with it and hope they change their mind and offer the option, and offer a way for physical owners to still play their PS4/5 games on PS6.
But I am just saying there are clear reasons why they decided to do this.
@mcquack306 For you.
But is that mirrored across the platform?
Sony has access to the data for how many drives it sold, its obvious now the Pro was the test bed for the optional drive.
Especially as the Pro is for the enthusiast.
And the market has spoken apprently.
@mcquack306 From a business point of view you can also see some of their point of view
With components being so expensive for next gen, removing the need to even manufacture a disc drive is a massive cost saving.
Especially given the vast majority are already at least mostly digital.
@mcquack306 There is a lot more to it than that.
Retail stores, trades, having a physical collection. All are important to a healthy hobby.
But owning a disc isn't the same as owning a SNES cartridge. It just isn't any more.
@TheRoyalStnd78@footyinsider247 Yeah..
Like that time, he won man of the match and said an opponent should have won it because he didn't deserve it.
Just admit it.
You're talking bollocks to justify a bullshit opinion.
Make sure you don't celebrate when he bails out England.
Again.
