What each political faction is doing to lower the cost of burritos:
- Libertarian: import 40 million immigrants from burrito making countries, destroy country but hey things are cheap
- MAGA: Tweet about it. Do nothing.
- Liberal: Vow to form a Congressional Burrito Cost Study Committee, which will recommend the creation of a United States Burrito Agency. The USBA will have the authority to review and approve of burrito prices after all stakeholders have been consulted. Burrito NGOs are expected to make billions from government grants.
Trad con: Point out that burritos are cheaper if you fill them with dirt instead of meat.
DSA: Run for office on a platform of beheading the fat cats at Big Burrito. Win in a landslide. Have the lawyers release a statement that as it turns out you arenโt ALLOWED to behead people for burrito crimes. Time magazine names you Person of the Year anyway.
@RyanGirdusky@yashar You're 100% right. I think he just found himself so immersed in studying Critical Theory that he has big time problems understanding that other ideas can "resemble" or "have parts" of CT, but that doesn't make them CT. Then he backs his words with blatant arrogance
@MattWalshBlog Agreed. It's not doing any of us on the right good to deny reality. Gen Z and Alpha have a legitimate gripe about high prices. Yes, they also choose ridiculous things like GrubHub at times, but that doesn't change the reality for the great majority that don't
@cenkuygur@VoteMarsha Holy $%&*! Have you never cooked at all? Soy sauce, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, hoisin, black bean paste and Xiao Xing are Chinese staples. What are you thinking ?
@Timcast Vegas went global. It always was to a certain extent, but even more so now. They want high rolling Middle-Eastern and Asian clientele. One whale = thousands of normies. By numbers, the casinos aren't down, just the employees who served the normies. Ugly situation
@christopherrufo I would love to believe that, but it's not happening. Candace and her followers will go on making new excuses. The truth is, when Tyler is found guilty, she and her followers will cling harder and come up with even more insane stuff.
@TheRealWizar If they did, they would offer it as an alternative of course. Then we would see where people go. I would go for the upgrade. People say no, but the moment they have the beauty of the new graphics AND the challenge & fun of true classic, they would flock there..with some loyalists
Too many people are misleading Americans about what the Supreme Court's birthright citizenship ruling actually means. Here's the truth.
The Supreme Court ruled in Trump v. Barbara et al. (June 30, 2026) under its current interpretation of the Fourteenth Amendment: children born in the United States to parents who are unlawfully or temporarily present are "subject to the jurisdiction" of the United States and are therefore citizens at birth under the Citizenship Clause.
Here is what this means:
Congress cannot pass a simple bill overriding the Constitution as interpreted by the Supreme Court. A president cannot rewrite the Fourteenth Amendment with an executive order. Our constitutional system does not work this way.
If Congress passed a law tomorrow ending birthright citizenship outright, it would almost certainly face an immediate constitutional challenge and would be overturned under current Supreme Court precedent.
Weeks before this ruling, I introduced a constitutional amendment because amending the Constitution is the strongest and most permanent way to clarify the meaning of "subject to the jurisdiction" in the Fourteenth Amendment. Under the Supreme Court ruling this week, it is now the only way.
If America wants to end birthright citizenship, Congress must amend the Constitution or a future Supreme Court must reach a different conclusion. Anyone promising a quick legislative fix is misleading the American people.
Americans deserve honesty, not wishful thinking. If we are serious about ending birthright citizenship, we must pursue a constitutional amendment and do it the right way.
@KeeganLowe6@Acyn 100 % true. I stand with the right and fight against the left. It's just. Our side does neglect social change tho. Gen Z has a legitimate gripe. They're facing economic and psychological pressures we NEVER had to face at a young age where the left is taking advantage of them
@jasonwhitlock This is an example of correlation is not causation. The fact that refs are calling more fouls made against her could be because they are protective..OR..it could be because players are going harder against her than they have in the past...OR...(insert other reasons here)
@KatarinaSzulc Let me describe your logic. A man beats the hell out of his wife with a bat. She suffers permanent damage and humiliation. According to you, the maker of the bat is the guilty party. Comon, please do better and wake up
@gelliottmorris I absolutely love the way Democrats are so willing to gaslight and manufacture a poll any time they find themselves in a corner. It's like clockwork
@DemSocialists Especially a socialist future full of Wahhabism and Twelver Shia Islam! Keep up the amazing work. You're doing the people the service they desire...It's what dreams are made of!
@davidsirota Social programs and Socialism are two different things. Unfortunately, you don't understand this? A progressive who doesn't read Marx? In your defense, it is a very common mistake
@stelzner_n1150 My god man. Not a single one of these is the future. Maybe DeSantis is some capacity. I thought this was a parody. You actually believe this
@quxiaoyin Not likely to change anything. America is leading the quantum race. This is the real race. Everything you believe that China could accomplish with cheap/free AI will be a non-issue. Not that you were correct in the first place
@Sulkhan Russia is a corrupt, authoritarian regime with a gdp the size of Texas. Not sure why ypu believe what you do. They can field a large military, and they do have adequate military technology. Again, to whom are you asking this question? I don't know anyone who believes your claim
@Andie00471@mcuban Good chance I don't agree with you on much. On this issue, however, I'm going to reach across the spectrum and congratulate you on absolutely, unconditionally owning Cuban here. He has zero response. If he had any semblance of humanity, he would have deleted his post
