@CitizenBomber Yes that’s been clear since KiwiSaver was brought in 20 years ago. I’ve assumed there would be no pension by the time I get to 65 anyway since govt debt is so high.
Those relying on pensions being there for them are the sleepy hobbits.
We think the word “sin” is worse than it is.
It merely means “missing the mark”.
That means when you miss a goal in sport, or a sales target; that is literally sin.

If cholesterol causes heart disease, why do millions of people with normal cholesterol still suffer heart attacks?
That question bothered me for years.

What they often share instead is insulin resistance, chronic inflammation, elevated blood sugar, obesity or hypertension.

Maybe it's responding to damage that was already there.
@DrNeilStone About 20 years ago it was first given to high schoolers in New Zealand.
2 auckland girls died the first week from seizures.
Seizures and death were then added to the adverse events list.

Policies that sound nice but the consequences are even more detrimental to the average and lower income kiwis they promised to help.
@dpfdpf So Nats and nz1st could govern without act. But Nats and act can’t govern without nzfirst. Nz first has said they’ll never work with labour again after being shafted during the covid response talks.
@buffys Westminster system.
Treaties with indiginous peoples of the countries they colonised giving those indigenous people full British citizenship and legal rights; in their later endeavours after learning from their mistakes.
Property laws.
Abolishing of the slave trade.
