ngl, pretty much everything. the biggest thing you guys have always been behind on is taste. claude has a lot more taste. it intuits what you want even from vague prompts, writes good code, great at design stuff like frontend and animation. it also knows what's best and adds the little details that makes things feel good without you having to ask. especially noticeable when making games.

but the thing i hate the most is the way chatgpt writes. trying to work with it just gives me a headache. according to my local chat logs, i swear at codex 11x more than claud because it frustrates me so much. it’s also always trying to be far too agreeable. like it will respond and then i will simply ask it something like “what do you mean by x?” or “what does this do?” and it will respond with some bs like “Sorry—I should have clarified. That was my mistake. Blah blah blah” instead of just directly telling me.

you guys really need to follow what anthropic from opus 5 to opus 5.5. they practically eliminated em dashes and fixed the writing which was a key part of their announcement. even copying muse wonder full would do.

it seems like you guys are trying to make a very helpful robot, whereas anthropic is trying to make it human and as a result, chatgpt is very good at doing deep analysis and inspection, but not much else.
