@lambeth_council has a wonderful kerbside strategy. We just need to see more of it in the south of the borough π
Pleased some elements are being introduced as part of the new Rosendale healthy route πΈ

As Paris keeps showing the world, the moment we stop treating neighborhood streets as exclusively places to move and store cars, and start designing them as places to live, everything changes... cooler blocks, safer streets, cleaner air, stronger community, & real public space.
It looks like the bus diversions are still in place following the bridge strike on Croxted Road earlier today - diversion details for bus no3 and bus no201 here: https://t.co/Zc02Iu6MuR
Progress! Pleased to see Tulse Hill gyratory in TfLβs Safe and Healthy Streets update, promising feasibility design work in 2025/26. This follows our campaign & a meeting between @clairekholland & Cllr Chawdury with TfL Commissioner to push for investment. Momentum is building!
And
π Facilitating cargo bikes travel with more secure parking facilities
We look forward to major progress in 2026, working with schools, parents, residents, staff and local authorities to #solvetheschoolrun
This is the South circular this morning. It's usually chock-a-block with traffic at this time π£
Why? Because of all the school run traffic πππ
BUT - state schools are still in term π€ π§΅
π Supporting school streets which are shown to improve safety and reduce driven school run trips.
π Targeting primary school ages which have higher droving rates with chaperoned services and pick up points closer to the schools
π Increasing walking busses between schools
