Final few places left at the hustings in Tulse Hill on Tuesday 21 April from 7pm!. Come along and put your questions to the candidates standing for election to Lambeth Council - see here for info https://t.co/iKmaGPCCjz

[Transform Tulse Hill @transformTH]

Great news that Tulse Hill will benefit from being served by the new SL15 express bus as well as the SL6, which currently drives past. 👏🏻 We're keen to see better bus stops and bins provided for the increased number of passengers @TfL @clairekholland @sebdance @TheNorwoodForum

[Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan @MayorofLondon]

A new Superloop express route has been given the green light 🚦

The SL15 bus between Clapham Junction and Eltham will be introduced following strong public support. It will boost connections between South West and South East London and make journeys quicker.

Local elections take place on Thursday 7 May. These hustings events by @TheNorwoodForum are a chance for us to hear from the candidates and ask questions about the gyratory and other local issues. Details at https://t.co/iKmaGPCCjz

[Transform Tulse Hill @transformTH]

Great to see this new shelter from @TfL supported by @lambeth_council. Coming soon after the confirmation that Tulse Hill will be served by not one, but *two* Superloop express bus services (SL6 & SL15) which we lobbied for, it's another welcome improvement for local residents 👏🏻

[Friends of West Norwood station @of_norwood]

At last a shelter at the southbound bus stop at #tulsehill station! Thanks @lambeth_council @TfL . No more waiting in the rail when the shops are shut and the awnings wound in!

[Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan @MayorofLondon]

Building the social and affordable homes Londoners need is a top priority.

I'm taking tough decisions to get them built, including working closely with the Government to finalise a temporary emergency package which will unlock stalled sites across London.

[Transform Tulse Hill @transformTH]

Installation of these cameras could transform safety at Tulse Hill - we're making a formal request to @TfL/ @MayorofLondon / @SebDance to include the gyratory in the next 20 locations chosen for further rollout, supported by @TheNorwoodForum @StationTStation

[BBC London @BBCLondonNews]

High-tech speed cameras that do not flash when they detect speeding drivers and do not need road markings are to be trialled in parts of London as part of plans to reduce road casualties. https://t.co/QkpO8gbFyI

[Transform Tulse Hill @transformTH]

Great to see @willnorman/@TfL trial 4D radar cameras. These are the right solution for the multi-arm Tulse Hill gyratory. We’re calling for TH's inclusion in the next phase to stop ghost plates & save lives @seb_dance @clairekholland @LambethCouncil @norwoodforum @StationTStation

[Will Norman @willnorman]

Speeding contributes to half the fatal collisions on London's roads.

@TfL & @metpoliceuk are trialling new radar-based speed cameras on 20mph & 30mph roads in 9 boroughs across London.

Slow down. Save Lives. #VisionZeroLDN

[Transform Tulse Hill @transformTH]

@justme1972xt @PalaceRoadSW2 @OlgaFitzRoy @StMartinsLab The point is that a vehicle hit this at high speed and if someone had been waiting to cross at that moment they could have been injured or killed. Multiple vehicles have mounted pavements around the gyratory at high speeds and have even ended up in gardens and inside homes.

[Transform Tulse Hill @transformTH]

Thank you for continued campaigning on this @OlgaFitzRoy @StMartinsLab. We desperately need VivaCity & speed cameras at Tulse Hill. At up to 15m wide, the road is the same scale as a 4 lane motorway: an outdated & unnecessary design that encourages swerving and speeding around it

[St Martin’s Labour Lambeth @StMartinsLab]

Shocking damage to traffic light at Tulse Hill Gyratory - we have been asking @TfL for speed cameras on the approach for years, and have requested a VivaCity camera to record the many traffic incidents that occur on this junction. Our residents need urgent action.

[Transform Tulse Hill @transformTH]

@PalaceRoadSW2 @natehiggins @Boenau @TfL Vivacity cameras aren't actually for enforcement but can provide useful data and intelligence, using AI and software analysis to understand how vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians use a space. We are asking @TfL/ @SebDance / @willnorman to install them at the Tulse Hill gyratory.

[Transform Tulse Hill @transformTH]

@wildandhigh Did we specifically say this was caused by the gyratory road layout? No. But we wanted to highlight the large number of incidents caused by speeding in and around the area. The accident on Saturday on the gyratory is yet another example of how poor design contributes to issues.

[Transform Tulse Hill @transformTH]

Another serious collision in Tulse Hill involving a car & bus on Norwood Rd. A sombre reminder of the jeopardy around the gyratory and the roads onto it. Sign the @TransformTH petition to the Mayor demanding action to make our roads safer: https://t.co/0hTmJmO7Oz
@norwoodforum

[Transform Tulse Hill @transformTH]

@gdennigan We didn't state it was specifically because of the gyratory - but living around here we see accidents, collisions and damage to both people and property regularly, including on Saturday. Speeding is the key cause of this, hence our group calling for action and active enforcement.

[Transform Tulse Hill @transformTH]

@Nic_Sentient @StMartinsLab @TfL We value the support our local elected representatives are giving @TransformTH - it's not as simple as 'the Mayor is Labour so it should happen' - there are many issues & priorities @TfL must contend with & we understand that. So we continue campaigning & raising with all parties
