Jigjiga University, founded in 2007 is one of the public universities in Ethiopia. JJU, located in Jigjiga, the capital city of the Somali Region is one of the second-generation universities in Ethiopia and the first university established in the region.

Today I took some time to sign the book of condolences for the victims of the earthquake that occurred in Türkiye last Mon.Rescuers continue to work around the clock in search of survivors. I pray for the families still searching for loved ones,as well as those who passed away
Good news: Ismail Malaq Abukar aka Senegal, a legendary former #Somali National Team player is currently undergoing medical treatment in Red Sea Hospital in #Mogadishu. The administration of the hospital granted him free healthcare and treatment.

I’m very excited to officially open a training course on diplomacy and protocol organised by the Ministry’s Diplomatic Institute today with 62 participants from different Government institutions.
I look forward all participants to interactively learn from the intensive course.
