As someone working in the field of human rights, I am appalled to witness the discrimination of the Amhara people by international human rights bodies. @amnesty and @hrw are reporting on Tigray as they should but ignore the ongoing genocide against the Amhara.

Why are Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch ignoring this? Thousands of Amharas have been held in concentration camps with appalling conditions for months. Leaked images show that they are living in crowded open spaces, without clothing or shelter. Reports from @GPEthiopia show that they are barely given any food. It is heartbreaking to see children detained here too. This is on top of the massacres targeting the Amhara people.

This is nothing short of allowing or hiding the crime of genocide.
