The real problem with the new God of War game that's coming out is that they didn't just change the model's face, they turned a pretty woman into a stereotypical liberal wine mom, then pretended like the in-game character was the same as the model.
It's not.
Dudes don't want to play as a Starbucks liberal. It's just how it is.
Candace Owens taking a "suspicious trip to Russia" is NOT the real story. It's only proof that Russia and Alexander Dugin's massive propaganda operation is working.
Dugin is right about what is happening to the West. It is evil. But that's the trap. His "solution" would destroy us all.
Before you say, "but he sounds really conservative and Christian," do you know what he actually believes?
Dugin preaches that Russia is the "Katechon," the biblical restraining force holding back the Antichrist (the West) until its allotted time. He also believes that Russia and the Islamist world will team up to defeat the Antichrist West.
Good luck selling that in America. Unless you first convince some trusted mouthpieces to lay the groundwork.
So target them first. Have them divide the American Right until they don't know who to trust. Target the real wounds that they carry and slip in the poison. Tell them that they have to choose between their faith and their country. Tell them the answer to every single problem is to blame your own nation, distrust your own people, call them an enemy, and admire a strong man.
Then Russia can step in and be that strong man. And the notion that the West, including America, is the enemy now seems logical.
Propagandists like Dugin want us divided and at each other's throats. They want us to feel like we have to pick sides. We don't. That's why I won't attack the podcasters who have either been fooled by or bought into this narrative. That only furthers the operation.
This.
People who make these claims are immediately revealing 2 or 3 things:
1. They aren't Christians.
2. They don't pay attention to missionary ministries.
3. Their religion/church doesn't do missionary outreach.
Russia is one of the most difficult countries to evangelize in. Those who are Christian, are Christian in name only. Evangelization is frowned upon by the state, iirc. And the population is largely secular--the worst kind of secular. They are the secular that is completely aware of God, but chooses to ignore Him. It's sometimes easier to evangelize to backwoods tribes in Africa with witch doctors than to people in a place like Russia.
Germany is in a similar place. Christianity had such a massive influence there in the past as well, that spreading the gospel is borderline impossible.
Anyone trying to sell you some kind of potential alliance based on religion with Russia is either a liar or a fool.
No exceptions.
This is exactly right. What’s the problem with enjoying the model on the right? It’s still obviously based on the actress, it’s clearly Deborah Ann Woll, but it’s the best idealized version of her. And there’s nothing WRONG with that.
Trying to force “more realistic” characters by intentionally uglifying them just feels like activism, it’s not in service of making a fun, more beautiful to look at and play game. By intentionally uglifying characters (both men and women) you remove the fantasy, which is ironic because you’re playing a fantasy game…
TLDR: There’s nothing wrong with games being ASPIRATIONAL. Not everything has to be RELATABLE. Often the “relatability” is forced. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to play as beautiful characters.
So unlike woke game designers I read some of the comments and I redid the design.
Here’s another model I edited. Looks more like the actress, more realistic looking, more texture on her skin. I even toned down her makeup.
Still looks like a beautiful character and the actress in my opinion.

Russia is not a bastion of Christianity. Anyone telling you otherwise is lying to you. This lie was manufactured to get the American right (which is predominantly Christian) to support Russia.
Agreed. There are times i'd love to just instantly video comment on something, but there REALLY NEEDS TO BE A SEPARATE TAB FOR VIDEOS. I get SO TIRED of the algo shoving miles of videos into my feed just because i happened to like one of them.
Give me a healthy mix, or stick it in a different tab.
All of X for the next week.
The feature is a horrible fit for X. I find myself immediately skipping over every video comment post.
Nobody wants to see your ugly face commenting on a quote tweet.
