I just got back from the #BlackLivesMatter protest in Vassar, MI and all I can say is how incredible it was.

Just a small gathering of around 50-60 people, completely peaceful. 3-4 cops at a table with water a doughnuts they were handing out and halfway through they said this..

After eight minutes, a 17 year old HS student who helped organize the event gave a small speech to remind us why we were there.

THIS is what law enforcement is supposed to do. THIS is what peaceful protests looks like. THIS is the change we want to see.
