@eet_foundation Two innovative technologies that I foresee will contribute to tackling #plasticpollution are Blockchain, as It provides traceability data in the value chain of plastics from production to the last consumer. Another is 3D printing, which ensures zero waste in the reuse process.

@eet_foundation Key stakeholders need to develop and execute circular economy strategies for plastic waste starting from household levels to the community level to regional level. Secondly, Increased efforts should be put in educating and raising public awareness to local citizens.

@eet_foundation First and Foremost, #plasticpollution is a big threat to terrestrial and Marine life. Also micro plastics are causing health issues some of them threaten women's reproductive lifecycles. They reduce the ecosystem's ability to adapt to climate change leading to food insecurity.

@eet_foundation Due to their lightweights, plastics are widely used in different areas, hence more waste is found in various areas including residential, commercial, industrial, street sweeping, and healthcare. So ,all key stakeholders need to focus on the circularity value chain of plastics.

Today's session took place at GS Kagugu Catholique where we mobilized 5000+ young students in primary level. It revolved around encouraging these young minds to be environmentally responsible.
To tackle this issue let's include kids since they tend to dump plastics all around.
