ok I know this is really out of the blue but I’m gonna pause development until july-ish to focus more on studying for graduation and university admission
that kills my plans for sage 26 but I'd rather get into uni than get a new demo out

sure as hell is gonna be stressful month
getting horizons off my head for these past few months definetly helped easen my mind a lot and helped me focus but it's still kinda nerve racking
@TicketyBoo2144 tldr if the older one didnt run too hot then I'm not expecting this one to run much better due to the increased visual complexity in basically every part of the game since then
@TicketyBoo2144 I kinda shot myself in the leg doing an open field like this where I can't pull off a lot of the common techniques like occlusion culling efficiently but it's whatever I'm still looking into it
started toying around with score based ranks (mainly as an excuse to rewrite my rank system cause it's ass but also cause balancing the multipliers on a weighted sum is more annoying than I anticipated)
@shshrhrjsjdj game defaults to SMAA, you can pick from FXAA or TAA but no DLAA, the game’s not demanding enough to require upscaling imo
also it’s deferred so no msaa
