@wil_da_beast630 If the WNBA suffers the same fate as the Negro League in baseball, will OP celebrate that as a win for inclusion? Because inclusion is detrimental to women's sports, for obvious reasons
@monty2140747@Lovetech107@MichaelaB_22 He crossed home prior to recording the 3rd out. That's why the umpire announced there was a "timing play" to review. If the runner from 3rd scores before the 3rd out is recorded, his run counts. The fact he was out *if the defense had tagged 3rd base* doesn't change that.
@ringetteref@MichaelaB_22 A runner isn't automatically out if he doesn't tag up on a fly. He's out only once the defense throws the ball to the base he left early. If the defense doesn't do that, which is what happened here, then what?

@gkamstra I personally don't believe it's true. Since there's no methodology, no cross tabs, the wording of the question isn't available and the data are already suspect, I'm just going to ignore this silly study until I get better data
@gkamstra The subtitle and the footnote contradict one another. That's typically a massive red flag for a "study" which publishes no other data than their charts.
@JamesSpillaneNH Following in the footsteps of the Virginia Supreme Court ruling "the election" starts when early voting opens, I bet Brian was relying on that interpretation for his spurious claim.
@LadyDemosthenes No chance. The present is significantly better than the past at basically any given time in modernity. Technology is amazing and continues to improve the quality of life for essentially everyone
@AbiderThe28076@Oilfield_Rando The trial determines whether she violated the law or not. The appeals process is where it is determined whether the law is valid or not.
@LadyDemosthenes Dahl wrote some fairly disturbing adult content. Make sure you don't get it mixed up wit h his kids books. https://t.co/or46uVraPm (Quinten Tarrenrino made one of these short stories into a vignette in 4 Rooms)
@politicalmath If degrees are awarded to competent candidates, yes. But I'm highly skeptical about degree <==> competency in many purely objective fields.
