Don’t bother applying to be a Lecturer in Mathematical Physics at the University of Melbourne if you’re a bloke. According to the advert: “ONLY WOMEN (CIS OR TRANS) ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY.” From a university supposedly serious about being one of the world’s best. Surely we want the brightest and the best physicists, regardless of gender? Hard to be positive about the future of our universities when one of our most famous ones is prepared to throw academic merit out of the window. The University of Melbourne seems more interested in hiring trans physicists than the best physicists.

Details on tomorrow’s protest: Anthony Albanese, Jacinta Allan and other leaders will host Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Melbourne, where he will address an audience of around 30,000 Indians inside Marvel Stadium.

Before that, he will be gifted “Little India” in Docklands while state and federal governments continue promising even deeper ties with India.

The Australian Government’s own strategy for strengthening relations with India is through greater “people-to-people” links. In practice, that means bringing more Indians to Australia. As the DFAT RFI 2035 report makes clear, the way Australia seeks to be viewed favourably by India is by expanding migration and the Indian diaspora here. Essentially, trying to achieve favorability with India by turning us into little India.

But what does India receive in return?

India receives billions of dollars in remittances from Australia, a rapidly growing and politically influential diaspora of around one million Indian-born residents.

At the same time, India continues to pursue “strategic autonomy”, building relationships according to its own national interests, including with countries that often compete strategically with the West and Australia such as China.

We are saying NO.

We reject the idea that Australia should continually deepen this relationship or pursue further mass immigration. Australians never wanted this, especially during a housing crisis, infrastructure strain and stagnant wages.

The vast majority of those attending the Marvel Stadium rally will be supporters of Narendra Modi and his far right BJP party, they may not like us opposing them but this is our continent. We vow to be peaceful, but loud.

There will be a heavy police presence.

I have been ordered to pay $95,000 in "damages" to two men in women's sport because I apparently hurt their feelings. It is potentially going to be doubled because I didn't pay in 30 days. So that is $190,000 in total to reward two men in women's sport. I am appealing in the NSW Supreme Court, so for now, there is a stay on the orders.

@salltweets has been ordered to pay a man $20,000 for not allowing him on her female only app. His hurt feelings claim is hoping to be challenged in the High Court. Sall is still waiting to see if leave will be granted for the appeal.

Jasmine Sussex could have to pay up to $95,000 to a man with hurt feelings who falsely claimed he could breastfeed a tiny baby. Her case is still to be heard by a Queensland tribunal.

None of these numbers include the court costs which run into millions.

Others have lost jobs, been censored, gaslit or threatened if they speak the truth or object to the lie that men can be women.

Men who wish they were women not only want to dominate our sports, spaces and services, they are also trying to make money as they go. It appears quite lucrative if they succeed.

Stand with us. Men are not women and we should never be penalized for stating the facts - especially in court where evidence and facts are meant to be paramount.

Australians have experienced one of the sharpest declines in living standards in the developed world since the pandemic.

This is no longer just political rhetoric. Australia’s declining living standards are now being recognised well beyond partisan politics. Economists, business groups and now OECD analysis are all pointing to the same reality: Australians are going backwards while many comparable countries have moved forwards.

I seemed to have upset my colleagues when I questioned why more than half a million dollars was being spent on a grant exploring “Indigenous connections to outer space” and whether Aboriginal people “cared for other plants.”

How do such projects help Australians who are living in tents, skipping meals, or struggling to pay rent?

While people are hurting, the Labor government is spending $1 billion a year on grants like this.

Taxpayers deserve to know why.
