NHS staff across the country are, as always, playing their part in response to this week's riots.
But we shouldn’t let dedication to duty disguise the fact that seeing this flare-up of racism will leave many colleagues feeling afraid and unwelcome.

17yrs of working in the NHS with the most amazing intelligent kind and caring people I've ever known.People who have saved countless lives and held the hands of those in their most vulnerable moments. We are multicultural & I am proud of the beautiful people we are.#wearetheNHS
@SLinzey99533 I absolutely agree & that is why I developed the #ProfessionalNurseAdvicate role in 2021. RCS has been mandated in the NHS contract for delivery by PNAs since April 2022 in England. Over 55,000 sessions of RCS has now been delivered
#ClinicalSupervision
The need for clinical supervision to become mandatory within the NHS is fundamental to staff wellbeing and staff retention. It is a very small investment in staff to help them feel valued and develop. CS can help to prevent stress and reduce sickness.
Happy #MyWholeSelf day. For me, being able to bring my culture and identity to my workplace is essential to my practice and wellbeing. Grateful to be working in a place that values all aspects of me 🥰 #mySLTday
Presenting beavers gets any easier for me as a nurse but luckily I had two amazing people presenting with me and our first systemwide event! @drliberty@JoJobridgeman
Really proud to have worked for the NHS for 15years! I have worked with some incredible people and most importantly cared for many wonderful people at some of their most challenging times. It is a privilege to have a National Health Service- I am proud ❤️ #NHS75#NHS75birthday
Thank you so much to @CNOEngland & @BurdettTrust for making this possible- @ICNurses Congress in Montreal to share the work of #ProfessionalNurseAdvocates & learn from nursing brilliance across the world
