Voter Phyllis Norris said she voted Democrat down the board, but that she’s tired of nasty campaign rhetoric from all sides.
“This has all kind of become distasteful, with what’s going on,” she said.

Democratic town council candidate David Smaczniak is at Vigilant Fire Department.
“It’s been pretty encouraging with the steady stream of people coming in and out,” he said. “It’s nice to see.”
Voter Barrry Johnson summed up his election priorities in one word: “Democratic.” He said the county sheriff’s race is the most important of the year.
“For so long we’ve had (Tim) Howard, who has been completely ridiculous,” he said. He voted for Democratic candidate Kim Beaty.
