How can you tell? It's an intelligence test. π

@DreaHumphrey π€ Ribeye steak. If you can afford it. Otherwise regular ground beef (maybe with butter, if you can afford it). Bacon is good too. If you can afford it. (It does have some sugar though...).
BREAKING: 40% OF LAYOFFS NOW CITE AI AS THE REASON FOR THE CUTS
The May data is in, and the better way to frame it is that AI remains the leading excuse.
I don't think we've even began to scratch the surface of actual AI efficiency cuts.
@GunGnome π€ Forget about the nuke. I wouldn't mind having a small nuclear reactor though. All to myself. π It will power my automated defense systems. And all my energy needs.
Bro, letβs stop pretending.
Muslims make up about 25% of the entire worldβs population β over 2 billion people across 50+ countries.
Japanese people? About 1.4% of the world. One single country.
Shinto exists only in Japan.
So when people say βJapan should prioritize minorities and be more accommodating to Islam,β who exactly are we talking about?
The global majority is coming to one of the worldβs smallest ethnic and religious groups and demanding that Japan change its culture, food, and traditions for them.
Thatβs not βprotecting minorities.β Thatβs the majority trying to colonize a tiny minority.
Japan has every right to protect its own people and culture first.
If Muslims want to live under Islamic rules, they already have dozens of countries where they can do that. They donβt need to come to Japan and turn it into another one.
@Alph4betSoup This is why we need to roll our own. π Open source and run our own things. We also need an open source/open hardware laser printer... π€
@uwu_underground Yin looks a bit frazzled. Meanwhile Yuki and Yuma seem oblivious (and having a blast). Are you girls going to make it? π π
Don't let the co-pilot drive.
@kmcnam1 Note to self: Plug computer into a fully charged large capacity (1500VA) UPS before updating BIOS. π (Or only buy computers that have 2 BIOS slots.)
@FringeViews@sivori π€ Maybe because we've delegated teaching of the next generation to the government? π€ Who are NOT interested to teaching people about the past where they were more independent and less trusting of the government.
Japanβs set to import another 800,000 third-worlders just months after an election promising to crack down on migration.
At this rate Japan will be mostly non-Japanese in just 33 years.
@FringeViews What should replace them are "keys". You give two (or more) to the website & you can use either to reset. You should be able to generate your own keys. They do not control them. In theory passkeys, but those are tied to Google/MS/Apple accounts which you don't own.
@FringeViews The idea behind factors is it's something u own. But that's unprovable. So instead they use a proxy to it (e.g. ur phone, thus ur phone number, thus a code they sent to it β the code is a proxy that u own the phone & the channel is secure).
Ultimately passwords should die.
@FringeViews There are other options as well like a hardware key (YubiKey). But the reason many banks don't allow email as the 2FA proxy (factors: something you know β password; something you have) is because they think your email can be taken over (intercepted). But SMS is also insecure.
