Day 8 of the Celebration! Today, meet the Capo della Salamoia Name: D. Marlin Personality: Calculating, predatory, and patient like the sea itself. He has a sly, confident grin and enjoys toying with his rivals before delivering the killing bite. He’s ambitious, always seeking deeper secrets, treasures, and leverage, believing that the true power lies beneath the surface literally and figuratively. Ability: “Sangue Nell'acqua” – he can summon and command spectral sharks that erupt from shadowy waters, circling prey with impossible speed before tearing them apart. The smell of blood or even just fear fuels their frenzy. Background: Once a dockside diver and smuggler, he grew wealthy salvaging what others couldn’t or wouldn’t dare touch. One fateful dive took him into the black heart of a wreck deeper than any he had ever braved. Inside, he uncovered a colossal tooth, impossibly old, humming with a hunger that seeped into his bones. When he brought it to the surface, the relic fused with him, rewriting his body and soul. His frame twisted, his jaw widened, his blood ran cold with the power of the ocean’s most ancient predator the Megalodon. From then on, he was no longer just a man but a nightmare of the water. Sharks began to circle him as if obeying a forgotten king. Rumors spread that some of the ships he plundered never sank by accident; storms and sabotage seemed to follow in his wake. His enemies claimed he had sold his soul to the abyss, but none could deny that he always surfaced with more treasure than the last. His obsession began with one shipwreck in particular an old vessel said to have been carrying artifacts from Naraka itself. He never found its full cargo, but he found enough to realize that the ocean hides truths older than empires. Now, every dive is part treasure hunt, part ritual, part hunt for forbidden knowledge. The sea speaks to him, and he listens. A new upstart Capo, Lone Shark is trying to carve out a reputation within NYEH. He’s young compared to other bosses, but his mix of oceanic power, cunning ambition, and ruthless tactics makes him a dangerous rival or a valuable ally.
