Clung on to by life-leeches. Dragged down by smaller men. Surrounded by smooth-brained twats
But somehow still standing. Laughing AT the bastards.

That's pretty incredible. That's about where the United States was in 1972.

@74frankfurt Peter lived opposite my mum. His sister Mhairi was Mum’s best friend. Apparently Peter went to London, took a painting job, met a screenwriter who told him to write about his experiences. His cousin married a wealthy guy and bought the Marquee Club where Clapton & Hendrix played.

Kids are kids, whatever their race, religion, nationality, socioeconomic background.
They thrive with consistency, predictability, structure, leadership from adults and love.
People who argue otherwise don’t understand kids.
They also badly let them down.
In my job I often chat with journalists about demographic data. Education and careers come up frequently as topics. This chart is one of the most powerful ones I've seen. Unmotivated high school students should pin this to their desks and teachers should wear this as T-shirts.
