Micah 7:7
"But me, I'm not giving up. I'm sticking around to see what GOD will do. I'm waiting for God to make things right. I'm counting on God to listen to me.”
Still can’t believe my wife made us pay our rent way ahead of time and stocked up the house with food, prepaid meter unlimited, just before we started wedding expenses 😂 😂
I am sure all you girls on this street have outgrown this by now. People used to fight me over this on this street like 10 years ago. Anyway, let me just repeat the lesson for any absentees among you.
Don't send your noodles to any man here asking for it. Once he asks for it, dump him. He ain't the man for your future.
Sis to Sis:
I recommend visiting your intending spouse at least once during your courtship so that you'll have an idea how your living space will be, and I recommend visiting unannounced too.
Thank me later.

Worked for 7years in ExxonMobil Nigeria and my life changed forever!
I was born with sickle cell disease.
I had Crisis after crisis, constant pain, multiple organ damage by age 28. Doctors said I wouldn’t see 35.
During one brutal episode, I prayed like never before while hooked up to morphine. The pain vanished overnight.
Follow up tests showed my hemoglobin was normal. No sickle cells. Geneticists ran every test, markers for the disease had disappeared. I haven’t had a crisis in 4 years.
My hematologist calls me the walking miracle file.
You have to believe that there is God.
I was advised to open a savings account but keep it secret from my husband. I just burst into laughter first.
It’s not that it’s a bad idea o, because we’ve heard too many stories…. but I should save money and keep it secret from the man that lets me open his bank apps to transfer money to myself? 😂😂😂
So when he finds out and removes that privilege, whose card will I now be using to clear my temu cart? 😂😂
In marriage, you’ll hear a lot of advice. I certainly have. Just pick the one that applies to you, then discard the rest.
Convert that Zenith bank statement PDF file to excel and ask copilot inside the excel to deconstruct it in a new sheet, arrange it neatly and categorise the amount based on actual transaction, taxes like VAT and bank charges separately. Also to remove all RVSL.
My current job story is still funny to me.
I honestly can’t remember when I did their online assessment because that month alone, I had like 10 different assessments.
When they called me for a physical interview, I had to ask the HR about the company because I genuinely couldn’t remember applying.
Fast forward to the interview day, I almost didn’t go. The role didn’t align with what I studied, and I was skeptical about how I even passed an assessment I didn’t prepare for. (I underestimate how brilliant I am sometimes.)
I eventually went with pure vibes.
Got interviewed first.
Collected the drink and meat pie they gave us.
Left Lagos that same day.
Then while I was at Nas Jam’s wedding, HR called again.
“Congratulations, you’ve passed the interview. We need you to do your medical tomorrow.”
I told them I had traveled to Ekiti because, truthfully, I wasn’t even interested in doing the medical.
They simply rescheduled it to a hospital in Ekiti.
I did it.
Five days later, they called again.
“Your medicals are fine. Will you be available for onboarding next week?”
At that point, I was in Kaduna trying to join the military through a Short Service Course 😂
I had already decided to miss the onboarding because my mind wasn’t there.
Then they called a day before and said it had been postponed.
Funny enough, I was in Abuja that same day for an NNPC final interview.
NNPC even gave us debit cards loaded with ₦100k each. I figured they might never call us back, but at least transport money was secured 😂
When I got back to Ilorin, another message came in.
Onboarding postponed again.
This time, they attached a flight ticket to Lagos and sorted accommodation.
That was the moment I paused and thought:
“Wait… these people are actually serious.”
My curiosity kicked in and for the first time, I started taking the opportunity seriously.
Anyways, here we are… still standing 😌
The funniest part is that the job kept chasing you while you were busy chasing everything else. 😂
