Remember that the West is starving Cuba, like they’re doing to Gaza. These barbaric acts of human sacrifice for political, imperialistic gains are universal against the Global South and Indigenous populations in the West
Four-and-a-half-year-old Mustafa Safi has suffered since birth from a rare and serious genetic disorder known as xeroderma pigmentosum (XP). The condition severely increases his sensitivity to ultraviolet (UV) radiation and puts him at risk of serious complications, including skin lesions and tumors.
Mustafa’s condition requires continuous specialized treatment and medical follow-up. Doctors have recommended that he be transferred to a specialized medical center outside the Gaza Strip to receive the necessary care.
Mustafa urgently needs intervention to facilitate his evacuation and access to the treatment he needs before his condition deteriorates further, giving him a chance to live safely like other children.
Today marks 611 days since Palestinian pediatrician Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya was detained by Israeli occupation forces without charge or trial following the raid on Kamal Adwan Hospital in Gaza.
Amnesty International has renewed calls for his immediate release, highlighting his continued separation from his family, colleagues, and the children he treated while working under relentless attacks and the collapse of Gaza’s healthcare system.
These are not wildfires in Algeria, Croatia, Canada, or Spain… this is what Israel is doing, burning village after village in southern Lebanon, while the world remains silent!
Israel has destroyed, burned, and occupied 10 additional villages in southern Lebanon despite signing a US-sponsored framework agreement.
More than 16,000 hectares have been entirely burned, including over 120 hectares of centuries-old olive groves to ashes in southern Lebanon, estimated to be 300-1000 years old.
These are war crimes under international law: Wanton devastation not justified by military necessity; also an act of genocide according to Article Il of the UN Genocide Convention. Yet, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights does not view them as war crimes—just as he saw no genocide in Gaza!
