It's true, I honestly don't give a shit about the "Nazi Tattoo." Sorry. If your panties are really in a bunch over that, I hope you can find comfort in these dangerous times. I'll be rooting for you to survive the Holocaust he'll surely try to impose as junior senator from Maine
@RadioUndisturb@GrampianQueen@Clav0Updates Vice versa, a lot of "influencers" can be vapid and unintelligent, but it takes shredness, inventiveness, creative thinking and social intelligence to accomplish what some of these people have. That, to me, betrays a higher level of thinking even if its not always apparent.
@RadioUndisturb@GrampianQueen@Clav0Updates It can definitely vary, but in my experience tradesmen and physical laborers inhabit that range between average and low IQ where grunt work and "common sense" tasks can be reliably handled with concentration whereas a higher level thinker would be stifled with boredom.
@GrampianQueen@Clav0Updates Not everyone is smart enough to make money online. Those of lower intelligence (not being insulting, they're people too) will still need to make money doing physical jobs, and the ones that can be automated are already being automated and will continue to be even moreso.
@Clav0Updates Ok, he just became 100 times more relatable. I fucking hate going out or doing anything really besides writing and working out which I also do at home.
Will Gen Alpha, and those following, be nothing more than thin, looksmaxed autists when they hit dating age? Seems something like a South Korean-ification of the West Will take hold.
Very curious how this will shape generations to come. Will social dynamics being shifted to online/social media and away from irl interactions actually lead to physically healthier, less obese populace over time, even as the prevalence of mental illness increases?
Clubbing is dead and has been replaced by fitness & wellness.
Ppl used to party to socialize and date but now they do things like HYROX, bathhouses, and running raves.
The death of clubbing is something to be studied:
— US has lost 12% of its nightclubs in the last 24 months
— 25% of US adults didn’t drink at all last year
— Gen Z drinks 30% less than Millennials did at the same age
On the flip side:
— According to Strava, the number of running clubs recorded on the platform increased 3.5x in 2025
— 72% of Gen Z go to run clubs to meet new people
— Sauna and spa market: $11.8B → $22.4B by 2034
The post-alcohol economy is gonna be a massive category.
@andruyeung With this in mind, what appeal does going to bars or clubs have for younger gens? There's no social status to be found there, no sexual/dating landscape as that's been overtaken by apps and Instagram dm's. Subsequently, the need for alcohol is null.
@andruyeung People build social worth on social media now, so it makes sense young people would rather spend money on fitness/looksmaxing and doing things that will garner them more engagement online. And picking up women from clubs is a thing of the past, women aren't there to find men now.
@StoneSydd@default_friend "They’re not poor role models at all you low IQ dumb ass bitch. They are amazing role models, and you can tell that by the way their friends speak of them. People like you are what’s wrong with society you ugly fat whore."
Let me settle this. The Wilsons may be perfectly fine as friends or decent people in their own way, but they’re poor role models.
Their only real value in the conversation is entertaining those who enjoy that sort of thing. They’re hardly paragons of “pro-family” virtue, they’re politically and historically illiterate, and their vulgarity isn’t interesting.
Arguing with them is pointless. We should treat their content the way we’d treat a throwaway VH1 reality show.
@WrestleTalk_TV Honesty the Vision should drop the super serious badass shit and be more like a modern day D-X. Theory has already shown he can be funny when he was in The Way, and Breakker should lean more into an unhinged Big Poppa Pump type character.
