That’s is literally called ” living on pass glory” brother. Powerhouse is always based on the current form & results. If that is the case Sudan will be considered powerhouse because they used to be great based on past results. Nigeria is a powerhouse but don’t overlook other teams.
@pamelamodella What an absolute ludicrous and pathetic excuse. If rules and ethics were respected wouldn’t be here today. CAF & its cronies though #Senegal were by themselves but the whole continent supported them. Senegal is the champion & will always b to us true africans!
@garyalsmith And they wonder why we are looked down on everywhere we go as african. We do we have to be on the wrong side of history every goddamn time? Why? Are we really cursed or just unlucky to have good leaders? How can a whole continent be this corrupt?
This is disrespectful as hell @stephenasmith
Do your job and actually do research instead of just saying bullshit for clicks.
You are so far away from the truth with your assumptions and people will believe you because you are the top dog.
That's wild.

You talk about the military and logistical cost of holding Kidal, but its importance goes far beyond symbolism. This is about our territory, the safety of its people and the authority of the state. The comparison with Napoleon in Moscow does not hold. Napoleon invaded another country. The Malian army is on its own soil. Kidal also has its own sons and daughters who know the terrain and its living conditions. They have a role to play in bringing stability to their region.
We cannot accept two states within one state. Leaving Kidal to armed groups means giving them a stronghold for trafficking and impunity. If holding the city is difficult, we must find the means to secure it over the long term.
Your reasoning is flawed. You focus on the cost of holding Kidal, but say nothing about what abandoning it would cost Mali and its people.
