New Podcast episode is up! We recap and try to figure out exactly what we saw on Saturday. A short interview with the Queen of Dragons. Adam Rants about playcalling and can't figure out what exactly Brandon Silvers is. Question is, can any of us?

The @XFLDragons would have kicked off our last home game of the season today. To every one of our fans - thank you for your passion and for always bringing the fire. You supported us as only Seattle can & I’ll never forget the memories we shared together. (1/3)
We appreciate all of our fans, followers and listeners; without you we don't have much of a show. We look forward to the 2021 XFL Season to rejoin you all in the stands as we get loud and proud for our Seattle Dragons!
Go Dragons!
We at Sound of the Dragon have still been trying to wrap our heads around the sudden end to the 2020 XFL season. Unfortunately with the lack of a season, there is little opportunity to bring you substantial content.

We are currently in discussion regarding the future of this show, but we will likely have a closing show in the next week then go on hiatus until the 2021 XFL season approaches, possibly with intermittent shows during the interim period.

XFL coaches have hurt the product on multiple fronts:
- resisting aggressive decisions despite rules encouraging them
- poor Week 1 QB decisions led to a lot of talk about that position in the first couple weeks
QB play has risen over time but aggressiveness still lacking.
@Jayessaych I've not found much info on Riley's situation, but I don't think so. As far as a change in playcaller, would be hard to bring someone new in at this point in the season. As far as on-staff, no clue. Steve Smith the O-line coach? We don't have a listed assistant OC.
Do not let the terrible call get one thing twisted. Jim Zorn cannot call plays for this team. The common denominator for the continued stagnation of the offense is him. We constantly look out of sorts pre-snap, and that starts with Jim.

@XFL_Endzone @dragonsfandom12 @JimZorn10 I had real concerns on the pod that a shift in QB wouldn't solve our real issue of playcalling. I was half right. BJ brings a whole new element, and he played very well in his first start.
I am extremely disappointed with the @xfl2020 and their inability to manage the clock with the game still in balance. If you want to be taken seriously as a league, that CANNOT happen. Terrible.

@ZachTheVoice As much as it has been rough, you're still in the driver's seat for the playoffs, and the competition behind you isn't exactly stiff.
Played the top two East teams with your backup QB, and went toe to toe with the league's best. You guys will dust off and figure it out!
@tkartist @xfl2020 It was, but a 35 yard fg has an incredibly high likelyhood vs converting consecutive TDs from 22 and 10 yards out.
I don't think odds of success should play into how a decision is made, I'm just curious if the outcome is different by XFL standards.
How different we think the @XFL2020 would've handled that situation if it was a 3 point game? Do the odds of something happening dictate the call?
There's no fixing it at this point but I hope the XFL will come out and make a real statement on this.
