🚨 TASKS IS LIVE 🚨
We are inviting U.S. users off the waitlist to try Copilot Tasks. If you’re on the list and didn’t get in yet, we have more invites are rolling out over the next few weeks. International friends stay tuned! Get on the list here:
I go out on paternity leave and @MSFTCopilot gets featured as the iOS app of the day! Super excited for the team (and very glad that correlation =/= causation 😉)
@DennisCW_ Was this example lease Financed through Tesla Leasing Trust or through a partner bank (Santander, US Bank, Chase, Ally)? I was just told by someone in Tesla Finance that *only* the Tesla Leasing Trust leases will have the buyout option (seems to contradict the website though 🤔)
@Carnage4Life I love this, but I’d replace “stupidity” with “misunderstanding” (and maybe add a layer over that for stupidity). That way there’s another “on me” higher probability issue that I can fix. They’re probably not dumb; I just need to explain the problem better.
WSH decided to punt to NYG from the NYG 34 on 4th & 12 with 8:33 remaining in the 1st while tied 0 to 0.
With a Surrender Index of 19.18, this punt ranks at the 98th percentile of cowardly punts of the 2022 season, and the 96th percentile of all punts since 1999.
@trengriffin Do you think this burn rate growth was driven by the huge price cut they made in the hardware (to chase user growth)? I remember being blown away in 2019 when @benthompson pointed out that Peloton’s CAC was almost entirely paid for by the margin on bikes back then.
@jonathanchait I’m not sure how much of the public realizes the amount of serious introspection the CIA’s Directorate of Intelligence (analyst division) did after Iraq WMD. After action reports are so important - we absolutely need multiple of them on our COVID-related policy decisions.
@Jason@Zeno_Math inspires 3-5 year-olds of color to love math by providing math games and training directly to families and organizations in Seattle and WA
If you’re watching the news today and looking for a way to help, please consider donating to this GoFundMe for an Afghan interpreter who saved countless Afghan and American lives over the past 10+ years. I promise it will be the best money you spend all year. #afg#Afghanistan
Raising money to get Iqbal a home. Knowing him, he’ll use funds to help those in need. This man is a hero both to Afghanistan and the United States. “New life for interpreter turned last fighting Commander in Afghanistan” @wesleysmorgan https://t.co/nfbSSsxzPC
If a *uniformed officer in the US Army* is treated as a mortal threat because he drives a new dark SUV with dealer tags, imagine how the average citizen - especially the average citizen of color - is treated. This cannot be allowed to continue.
A second Lt. in the U.S. Army is suing 2 VA. cops over a traffic stop during which the cops “drew their guns...used a slang term to suggest he was facing execution before pepper-spraying him & knocking him to the ground” https://t.co/m4rV73sgsp
This is a great thread. My take as a marketer - people are smart, so treat them that way, and trust is hard earned but easily lost. Officials and journalists made this mistake downplaying masks last March and are doing the same now with vaccine efficacy. I expect similar results.
So this is probably going to get me yelled at, but I want to talk a little about a sci com issue around the J&J vaccine and how well it works.
The official take in sci com and public health seems to be that it's just as good as Pfizer and Moderna ... which is correct, sorta ...
