🇯🇵 Japanese media personality Bobby Ologun (60), who is Nigerian, has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a female acquaintance at a residence in Chiba Prefecture. He's reportedly denying the allegations.

Ologun was popular in the 2000s for playing an idiot on TV.

According to police, Ologun is suspected of sexually assaulting an adult female acquaintance at a residence in Chiba Prefecture in April of this year.

Ologun left the country after the incident, but was arrested early this morning upon his return to Haneda Airport.

This follows a previous domestic violence arrest in 2020 for assaulting his wife, for which he was later fined ¥100,000

Nigerian-Yoruba Victor Komolafe has been sentenced to 8 years and 11 months in prison by Woolwich Crown Court after being convicted of four sexual offences, including attempted r@pe, sexual assault, and assault by penetration, against two women who did not know each other.

The 35-year-old, who also used the aliases Ghost and Xavier, was identified through the Metropolitan Police Service, an initiative targeting high-risk offenders who pose a threat to women and girls in London. Investigators found forensic evidence linking him to the offences despite his denials and efforts to conceal his identity.

In addition to his prison sentence, Komolafe was given an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order and will remain on the UK sex offenders register for life. Police praised the victims for their courage in coming forward, noting that their cooperation was crucial in securing his conviction.
