@MOULD_earth @BeccaVoelcker @anthonypowis@Serifaki@boveletti I will be there. Your message needs to penetrate to the depths of governance bodies and to the souls of individuals. All speed!
@jeremytill@csmSpatial@lethabygallery You have every right to be biased as this is all for the greater good. I wish more power to Lethaby and more folk through the door. Its a super idea.
Jon Moynihan donated over £700,000, Liz Truss nominated him to the Lords and today is his first day. If that makes your blood boil, you can sign the petition here: https://t.co/Ti7BrGCLZL
I just signed the petition calling on the Post Office Minister, @kevinhollinrake to prevent @RoyalMail reducing their delivery requirements from six days to three days a week. Will you sign too? https://t.co/804xT71GjS via @38degrees
I just signed the @DailyMirror petition calling for Alan Bates, the ex-postmaster who led the decades-long fight to expose the Horizon system scandal to be awarded an honour. Will you sign too? #MrBatesVsThePostOffice https://t.co/AR5XLJrw9S via @38degrees
I just signed the petition calling on Fujitsu to be held to account for their role in the Post Office scandal. Will you sign too? #PostOfficeScandal https://t.co/J6mcwJgWTJ via @38degrees
@sgaventa@dezeen I visited a month ago. Having worked with Argent (now RelatedArgent) on Kings Cross, I wanted to see what Hudson Yards and its public realm was like. Although the 'empty vessel' is visually stunning, it is part of a public realm that is unbelievably poor.
@dezeen@ZHA_News Good God! This must be one of the most powerful Venice Biennale's - maybe the very best, and if listened too (if not understood in the case of some) could just abot rescue architecture from cultural oblivion!
@ArchReview @jeremytill Great piece Jeremy - and an assessment that is self-evidently true. How does one break out of the madhouse of mirrors? Maybe buildings should be required to have a plaque stating embodied and operational carbon figures - allowing everyone to understand performance beyond optics!
My mentor and maestro. And my friend. Bernard Tschumi has been one of the most thoughtful architects of the last 5 decades. What he has done for architecture has yet to be fully unpacked-but it will be, I am sure (or at leat hopefuls) of that.
There are few places offering such a challenge and such potential as OPDC. This Saturday we will open up our first place lab for local groups, organisations and individuals to help bring the picture of the future into closer focus.…https://t.co/ggundHXe4H https://t.co/qk1I778Snr
How tragic - removing Victorian capitals with angle-grinders and hammers to fit another set of crap windows. Why not just fit the right windows and make everyone happy? If this country is to work, people need to start caring about the small things.
