Why It Is Essential For You To Differentiate Between God and Religion

Invisible things, like thoughts, oxygen and other gases, electricity, WiFi, etc., have more energy than visible things. And in fact, even the most powerful visible thing, which is water, is made from two invisible gases, hydrogen and oxygen.

Do not downplay the existence of God because God is invisible. And do not reject God simply because you refuse to accept religion. God existed before religion, and the concept of God is not tied to religion. Religion is the twin brother of science. Both are man's ways of trying to understand God. Neither of them is perfect. You can reject one or even both and still accept God.

A belief in God is like an anchor. It will stabilise you in this life. You don't have to understand God to believe in the idea of God, just as you do not have to understand how a plane can fly to accept that it can fly. A fact remains a fact whether you understand the rationale behind the fact.

God is a Spirit no person on Earth fully comprehends, no matter what they tell you. You, as an individual, can be as close to God as any other person on this planet. Nobody has more ability to be closer to God than you, irrespective of what they believe or tell you.

And guess what? You, too, are a spirit. You don't have a spirit. You are one. It is your body that you have. That is why your body and mind cannot explain how you can sit down or stand up and sense that someone is watching you from behind.

You do not have eyes at the back of your head. But you are a spirit. And just as I said at the beginning, your invisible spirit is more powerful than your visible human body. Therefore, it can know things and inform your physical body without alerting your conscious mind to how it knew them.

The fact that you are a spirit is also why you experience déjà vu, an experience you know for a fact you have experienced before and are now reliving.

It is why you have dreams that come to pass, and you cannot even tell others, lest they call the men in white to take you to an insane asylum.

What is the object of this piece of writing? Do not limit your idea of God to the limited borders of any religion or science. And do not judge others because they are limited in their consciousness of God by their religion or science.

Just believe that there is an invisible God who created this world and you in it. Then keep an open mind about that Being, even as you respect other people's dogma (dogma just means the boundaries that men have set for what should be believed about God and the machinery they have put in place to compel other men to restrict themselves to the boundaries they have established).

When you have such a belief, you will have more tranquillity, and even the world's peace will be promoted. You will argue less with people and understand them better. You will get that most people's concept of God, in essence their religion, is dictated by where they were born and to whom they were born, rather than an independently held belief that they were logically persuaded into by extensive contemplation and impassioned observation.

It will also give you the wherewithal to embrace your ignorance, rather than the false confidence that religion gives that you have all the answers and those outside the narrow borders of your faith do not.

Finally, you may realise that you are not an atheist. That you never doubted that God existed. That, in fact, you were irreligious and against religion and refused to accept the construct of God that different religions came up with.

That is not the same as not believing in God. That is not the same as not believing God. Because, again, as I said, God created this world and you. And men, like you, created religion. Once you understand, you begin to be free, because you realise that the created thing can never fully explain the uncreated Being.
