The NCAA just pulled a fast one on the transfer portal this week. The Committee decided to ditch the spring transfer window but left everyone hanging about the dates for the new single transfer window. Rumor has it, it might be a 10-day sprint in January.

Breaking News: SEC Announces Cost-Saving Measure

This week, the Southeastern Conference announced a surprising new rule: replacing official’s flags with beer cans. The change is expected to significantly reduce the costs associated with laundry and officiating uniforms.

The Commissioner said they were unaware of how easily beer cans could be thrown or how readily available they were. He also noted that using them would make officials more comfortable when dealing with objects on the field, as they would be accustomed to them being nearby.
