Back in April of 2025, Senator Jim Banks of Indiana introduced a bill that would restrict chain migration.

Chain migration allows an immigrant to bring in whole extended families.

Why hasn't this bill been voted on?

Morocco is in Africa. Spain in Europe. There are 2 autonomous Spanish cities in North Africa. Spain has controlled the cities for centuries, like they did Florida. Morocco has challenged that since its independence in 1956.
What happened this week was Moroccans, about 2,000, surged into the Spanish autonomous CITY of Cueta in NORTH AFRICA, not EUROPE - NOT SPAIN, and this happens frequently. The last time was 2021.
