I chaired the Southfields and Wimbledon Community Panel with many residents associations, councillors and AELTC to talk about improvements for residents during the Championship.
Do contact me if you are local and you’d like to know more.
There's just one week to go until the switching on of the #Southfields Christmas Lights, proudly sponsored by the AELTC since 2012.
Join us and @WandsworthMayor from 4.30pm for carols, live music, mince pies, mulled wine, market stalls and a special guest. 🎄🌟
Please sign and share this e-petition to @MertonCouncil for drinking water to be made freely available in Wimbledon Park. Petition now extended to 13 Sep.

Also please let us know if you could volunteer to collect a sheet of paper signatures.
I object to the All-England Lawn Tennis Club's current proposals for an 8000 seater stadium in Wimbledon Park.
You can read my joint statement with @S_Hammond on my website, where you can also find links to submit to the planning consultations: https://t.co/OU7pWWEUfk
⚠️A s35 Anti-Social Behaviour Dispersal Order has been authorised for Wimbledon Town Centre from 12:00pm, running 48hrs till 11:59 29th April.
This is following intelligence about likely anti-social behaviour, previous incidents of which have caused alarm for the public.
The Guardian newspaper published an article about opposition to AELTC's plans. It focuses on the Deed of Covenant agreed on between Merton Council and AELTC in 1993 when the golf course was sold. An interesting read.
