We've had a busy summer celebrating the completion of our Lynn monument conservation project. We're particularly grateful to James Miller DL (seen here with Rev Dr Donald McFadyen) for giving a fascinating talk about the history behind the monument, including a fatal duel!

We're very grateful to the Counties Heritage Foundation for organising a celebration of the restoration of the Lynn monument. Dr Tessa Murdoch, Chair of the Huguenot Museum, gave a fascinating talk about Roubiliac & the Huguenot Diaspora. Thank you, all who came!

There's something rather lovely but also sad about c11th Holy Trinity Church. It sits in the grounds of Blatherwycke Hall which was demolished in 1948. There's a great monument to Sir Humphrey Stafford (d.1575) who built nearby Kirby Hall.
