@andythegreenie@FreddieChesney@EActioneb@EastbourneBC So the plan for Eastbourne will fail if manufacturers fail to produce suitable vehicles in time.
Just to enlighten you, the sea defence work protects an area of about 50Sq km. A breach at the harbour could cause about £1.5bn damage. (2003 estimate in excess of £1bn)
Really worth sharing again - the problems blind people face crossing the road in the Netherlands... Dit gebeurt er als een blinde wil oversteken: 'Het is absurd' https://t.co/3wmMDQxffi
Does anybody know the identity of the motorcyclist who leaves Caroline Way every morning between 6:30 and 6:45 and rides along Pacific Drive at very high speed, making an excessive amount of noise?
I'm sure @EastbournePol would be interested to know.
Absolutely, the harbour in particular has more than ample provision for safe cycling.
If cyclists want to take advantage of the view, they shouldn't do it on their bikes.
I do hope Gill that you'll resist the plans to convert the seafront and harbour promenades to shared space.
Safe cycling is an admirable objective, but it mustn't be achieved at the expense of making walking dangerous.
Is Caroline Lucas really coming to Eastbourne as a Green MP to support the ending of safe walking on the promenade? Does she know about Active Travel policies? Or, is she supporting a safe seafront cycle route ... which is a different proposition.@andythegreenie@EastbourneBC
Why do disabked people have to campaign and canvass in Westminster to get their voice heard about safe walking spaces in Eastbourne. End the dominance of our shared space centric pressure group and their council, partners.
As Bespoke call for cyclists to demonstrate their anti social behaviour, break the law, ignore the designs of Sovereign Harbour @CustomerFirstEB Eastbourne Council look to jerrymander any way they can to put vulnerable people at risk on our safe walkways. Despicable.
Like to sincerely thank @Chris_Boardman for this:
Q: What is he doing to win over hearts and minds? A: The whole purpose of the Bee Network is to design out conflict, & one upshot of this is to refuse applications for shared space situations. @WalkRideGM

Whilst Bespoke continue to put vulnerable people at risk our U.K. guru Chris Boardman gives his opinion .. Like to sincerely thank @Chris_Boardman for this: design out conflict, & one upshot of this is to refuse applications for shared space situations. @CustomerFirstEB
