@TheGoodStatsMan@BespokeEB@SocEnvJustice@EastSussexCC Most of the path is behind hedgerows, so obscured from the road.
There has been a steady flow of mostly cyclists when I’ve used it, but also lots of kids on skateboards and scooters, especially nearer Polegate once it’s away from the roadside. Fewer pedestrians though.
@BespokeEB@EastSussexCC I’m really surprised to see @activetraveleng funding a scheme that discourages active travel, removes the existing safe cycle and pedestrian zone, and moves bicycles onto the dangerous ring road where there have been numerous collisions.

The @retrochallenge has drawn to an end. I look back at what I learnt and achieved with my Rotary Encoder for the #RC2014 project.

I've put together my work on the Rotary Encoder for the #RC2014@retrochallenge and built a music player.
Tracks can be selected using the rotary encoder, shown on the LCD, and played on the YM2149.

The two new versions of the Rotary Encoder Module for the #RC2014 that I have designed for this year's @retrochallenge have arrived.
I've soldered them up and tested them, and they work perfectly.

A quick update on my #RC2014#RetroChallenge .
I wanted to cover my development environment. This is how I build Z80 assembly language programs on my Mac, how I transfer them, and how I run them on my RC2014.

Well - the entire crew of season two of #AdamRichmanEatsBritain has just been robbed. We were driving from Birmingham to London, stopped at a rest, stop in Barnet for exactly 4 1/2 minutes to use the restroom, and came back to our van completely cleaned out.
All of the filming equipment is gone.
Both of my suitcases with all of my possessions are gone.
Backpack with my laptop and all of my medications are gone .
And to make matters worse, because I have trackers on some of my possessions, and because of my laptop, I can see where these things are. But we have to wait here for the police. The rest stop won’t release the security footage until the police arrive.
It’s been almost an hour.
I’m going to share a few of the locations where I can see my possessions.
Reward for anything found.
I created a new ROM module for my #RC2014 Classic 2 computer.
This is taller than the standard module, has a ZIF socket, and switches for swapping the memory mapping around.
I'm hoping this will make it easier to program on my RC2014. #RetroChallenge

The new PCB revision of my Rotary Encoder Module for the #RC2014 arrived yesterday, so I have soldered one up and tested it.
I made a mistake with the ground plane.
Still, it's a good learning experience for this year's #RetroChallenge

Another update to this year's @RetroChallenge
I have merged my rotary encoder and LCD Z80 code, and I can now scroll text on the
#RC2014

In my latest update for this year's @RetroChallenge, I look at how to display text on an LCD screen attached to an #RC2014 computer. The ordering of the text was an issue as the LCD doesn't show lines sequentially, but I came up with a solution. https://t.co/5BgdsJyKtc
Lots of progress tonight on my @RetroChallenge. I still need to write it up, but I can now use my Rotary Encoder module to scroll through the poem Puff The Fractal Dragon on my #RC2014.
