@NarukamiKnight Two of my oldest decks have had infinites in since their inception: Sharuum combo & Sidisi zombies. Only the later I still enjoy piloting often. Can't bring myself to break down Sharuum since it's my first deck, but aiming for the same line gets dull.
Great read as always!
@ghirapurigears Mirrored knights in Black & White is so deeply ingrained in magic's DNA I'm surprised this hasn't been designed already. Now I want my 2/2 for BB that gets me a Swamp.
@ghirapurigears This was like one of the first card I saw (online) of magic, so it's seared in my mind next to Coastal Hornclaw (a card I owned as a kid for some reason).
I should get a foil of this because I'm a sucker for Alara block even though I'm an Esperite through & through
@NarukamiKnight This trope-heavy trend since OTJ (and MKM to an extent) has really soured my excitement for newer sets that even Bloomburrow couldn't salvage. Foundations however might.
Also Daretti looks like an Italian boss I had a few years back and it's too uncanny for me.
@NarukamiKnight Played Siege Rhino with my Anafenza the Foremost last week, the looks i got lmao. My oldest deck that has stayed so consistent over the years.
Chasing upgrades is neat for stronger deck or innovative deck (Always need new tech for flash Chromium), but capsules are super fun too!
@NarukamiKnight Granted, some of the cards from J25 convey great action in the artstyle. Love Slinza, Gornog & Sutina (I'm a sucker for Zendikari elves)
@NarukamiKnight I generally chose not to engage with either when possible. I don't like the overuse of anime art for the J25 set, but there's like two cards I want for a very casual deck of mine (Anje Blood Tokens). But as long as it's not over the top art like anime Smothering Tithe, I'm good.
@maizie_star Glossy but my new phone (pixel 8) sometimes gives me the matte as an auto fill option. My colorblind ass has a hard time distinguishing the nuance.
